Well, I'm sitting in the common room of our "hotel" where I'm staying for the next week before moving on to Negishi. I don't know much about where I'm at right now. We flew in last night, got checked in, ate dinner and then went to bed. I think this was the first time in my life when I woke up at 7 in the morning without an alarm clock.
The flight to Vancouver yesterday was short (well, I guess it was 2 days ago). But I got to hang out in the airport for a 7-hour layover. The security gate guard convinced me to take the SkyTrain to downtown Vancouver, so I did. I was hoping to see the Olympic torch, but I wasn't sure where to go, so I just walked around for a bit.
I met up with 7 other Camp Adventure people (CAs from now on), and we hung out until getting on the plane to Japan. The flight was good...they had this sweet GPS system that could let you see where you were, how many miles you flew and how much longer you have. We had pretty good food (chicken pasta for lunch, chicken and rice for "dinner") and some good movies. I slept for a few hours which was great considering I got no sleep the night before.
I'm not sure what we're doing today, but we're about to go to breakfast. I'll check back in later!
